Four Winds Barn Wedding- Taylor and Klayton

Taylor and Klayton chose one of the hottest summer days last year for their wedding, but luckily they chose a pretty cool venue to host it at! I had a great time helping Bryn’s Photography capture their fun and rustic wedding last August.

As usual, the wedding photography started off with Klayton’s getting ready process. Taylor and Klayton chose to get ready in the historical hotel right around the corner from their wedding venue. It was a huge space, with plenty of natural light that allowed me to get some amazing shots of their wedding morning! I started with all of Klayton’s important details, including the very cool watch that Taylor had gotten for him as a gift which had their wedding date engraved on the back. Then Klayton started getting dressed and had some very sweet moments with his mom, who helped him with some of the finishing touches.

Taylor and Klayton chose to do a first look at a nearby park, and it was such a cute moment! I absolutely loved it when Klayton asked Taylor to give him a twirl, I could tell she felt like a princess in her dress. It probably helped that their bridal party was shouting compliments at her from behind me!

We stayed in the park to get some really fun bridal party portraits. I personally loved the bridge in this park and thought it was such a great space for their large group. Then the whole party did a champagne spray by the lake at the edge of the park, and you can tell from the photos that this is a close knit group of people having the best time celebrating the friends that they love!

We finished our time at the park with couples photos, and Taylor and Klayton were just so cute and full of love for one another! After that we headed to the venue for the main event! Taylor and Klayton had a quick and sweet ceremony, and the guests all loved that they had two of their groomsmen act as “flower boys!”

After cocktail hour and games in the cool basement, the reception started with some high energy entrances from the bridal party. The bridesmaids popped champagne bottles filled with confetti and the groomsmen had choreographed a pretty elaborate dance for their entrance. Then came the two VIP’s, Taylor and Klayton, who went right into their first dance. I loved that they kept their friends standing behind them as they did their dance, it was so sweet to be able to capture the happy and loving faces of their friends as the backdrop to their first dance.

This was a beautiful way to end their wedding photography coverage! Taylor and Klayton planned a fun and gorgeous celebration and I am so grateful I got to capture some stunning memories from their wedding day!
