Nothing brings me more joy than my family. My husband and I have been together since we were seventeen and I love the little family we've built for ourselves. We adopted our sweet Golden Retriever named Murphy in December of 2020. More recently we had our first baby, a beautiful little girl named Aileen. Being a mom to these two is so incredible, nothing brings me more joy than simply spending time goofing around with my little cuties. If you like dogs or babies I'll happily entertain you with stories of their silly antics during your photoshoot!

I love to travel! Ryan and I have been to 31 countries together, and I have an insanely long bucket list of destinations I'd love to visit. In fact, I first got started in photography because I wanted to be able to capture amazing photos of all the places I visited. Any time I get a chance to travel the first thing I pack is my camera. I'm not embarrassed to admit that I've definitely forgotten to pack essentials like toothpaste or my hairbrush, but I've always remembered all my camera gear! And I'd love nothing more than to photograph a destination wedding! My dream would be to shoot a wedding at a European castle (perhaps one with a vineyard attached-wink wink), but I'm happy to follow my couples anywhere in the world!

I know I've made myself sound like an adventurer, but at heart I'm quite the homebody. I love to curl up with a nice cup of coffee and a good book whenever I have free time. My favourite things to read are romances and mysteries, and I always have plenty of recommendations! Hello! I'm Bailea, owner of Bailea Shivaun Photography. Thank you so much for checking out my website! I am a self-taught photographer who specializes in weddings and boudoir. I know these seem like two very different types of photography, but what I love about both types is how they're such a beautiful reflection of love. There is so much love flowing at weddings between the couple getting married and all their friends and family, it's such a joy to be around! I love capturing all the quick but meaningful looks, the big hugs shared by family members reuniting after a long time, and of course all the drunk-on-love kisses shared by the newlyweds! Boudoir, on the other hand, is amazing because I get to capture images that make a person fall in love with their bodies, or enhance the love they already have. It is so rewarding watching a client become more confident throughout a session!
