A Stunning Golden Hour Engagement Shoot at RC Harris Water Treatment Centre for Alessia and Daniel

When I first started talking to Alessia about her vision for her engagement session the one thing she was absolutely certain about was it had to be golden hour. In fact, we re-scheduled this shoot three times because of grey skies. And while I do think lots of cloud cover is great for photos, I have to admit that we lucked out with the sunset during this shoot! Just scroll down and you’ll see the absolute magic we got.

Not only was the sunset putting on a spectacular performance for us, but the location for this shoot was amazing! Being from the west end of the GTA I had never heard of the RC Harris Centre but I was so thrilled when Alessia suggested it. I am a huge history nerd (I even have a degree in it) and I love old buildings so being able to shoot at a historic location is always so much fun for me. And the Art Deco design of this centre is so cool!

Alessia and Daniel were such a sweet couple to photograph, they were both so kind and outgoing that I instantly felt like I was working with friends rather than strangers. They told me all about their upcoming wedding plans, and I even learned that Alessia is a teacher who loves going on field trips to the Village at Black Creek where I used to work.
